The film follows the adventure of Sonic (missing) while navigating through the complexity of life on earth with his new friend Tom Wachowski (James Marsden). Sonic and Tom are working together to try to prevent the evil Dr. Robotnik (Jim Carrey) Sonic captures and uses his power to conquer the world. The film also portrays Tika Sumpter and Ben Schwartz as the voice of Sonic.
