In celebration of its 200th anniversary in 2019, the Prado Museum will tell the story of your life and take you on a fascinating journey to Madrid, dating back to six centuries of Spanish history. The story is told through art, through eight thousand works in the collections of the Museum, and the stories behind each. Painting is canvas, color, matter and form, but it is also the story of men and women, painters and kings, palaces and queens, wealth and trouble, body and soul.
