Slender is a first-person horror where his sole purpose is to find eight manuscripts about Slender Man, a paranormal being. This is followed by a previous game called Slenderman, which was based on a similar theme but was not so scary or successful.

How to play (function () {(‘app-view-app-page-desktop-desktop’);});

The Slender myth began simply as a rumor, and was popularized as an Internet meme. The story is that Slender Man is a mythical creature who is often portrayed as a tall, skinny figure dressed in a black suit and blank face.

According to legend, Slenderman can stretch or shorten his arms at will and has appendages similar to the tentacles on his back. Slender people can cause memory loss, insomnia, paranoia, cough attacks (called “skin diseases”), photo and video distortions and can be transmitted at will.

The basic premise of the game is that the more you interact with a slim person, the faster you lose your mind. Therefore, you must be careful not to look at the enemy for too long and remember that the flashlight has a limited battery; so you need to turn it off periodically to save it. In addition, the more you run, the lower the maximum resistance; so you only need to run when you need to.

It’s scary?

Slender perfectly creates a frightening atmosphere for a very elementary game. You feel that only you, your torch, and the sound of crickets sing when you are in the woods searching for manuscripts. However, the overall purpose of collecting 8 pages of the manuscript is rather limited, and therefore the gameplay is somewhat limited.

Game management is simple:

Mouse – look back

W, A, S D – Move

Left shift – sprint

Left-click – select pages

Right-click – a flashlight

Q E – zoom in / out

Conclusion

Slender is a terrifying horror game that is worth a try, or you’ve never heard of the myth of a thin person.

A subheading (“Eight Pages”) has been added to the game to distinguish it from future releases.

Improved main menu and added music to it. It now also contains links to information about thin people and the YouTube series.

Added different light sources (unlocked after winning the game once).

Added shadows (not particularly noticeable, except highlighted areas).

Its speed is gradually increased as more pages are collected.

Removed cooling to restore endurance after race / run and reduce resistance speed. When

You start running, but immediately take away 5% of your stamina. This will allow you to execute

sprint for a much longer period, but repeatedly pressing the run / sprint button causes resistance

drain very quickly (effectively getting rid of the previous feat).

The maximum distance you can see decreases as you create more pages; this is to keep a similar link

for people with fog off. For the same reason, the shadow distance can no longer be disabled.

Added menu option to skip recording automatically.

Pause feature added, but you can only pause when there is no static (which doesn’t allow you to pause the game

see the thin person in response).

Fixed an issue where a flashlight tried to light a page on the other side of the wall.

One of the hidden modes was removed (it was only a matter of time since it contained copyrighted material). Changes A signature (“Eight Pages”) has been added to the game to distinguish it from future versions.
